Woman Brutally Assaulted by Husband After Catching Him in Bed With His ‘Side Chick’
A Sierra Leonean woman identified as Hawanatu Sankoh has been brutally assaulted by her husband, Dauda Kargbo.
The horrifying attack occurred on Thursday morning at a neighboring house to the couple’s matrimonial home in Cole Town, Waterloo.
According to police reports, the 26-year-old woman allegedly caught her husband in bed with another woman, described as his “side chick.”
Disturbingly, instead of confronting the other woman, the enraged husband turned his violent rage towards his own wife.
Investigation officers from the Family Support Unit at Waterloo Police Station have obtained statements from witnesses, shedding light on the harrowing events.
The husband was reportedly found naked with his mistress at the location, and upon the wife’s disclosure of the affair, he unleashed a vicious and relentless beating upon her.
As a result of the brutal assault, the young woman now fights for her life in the Intensive Care Unit at Waterloo Government Hospital.
