Bai Bureh Warriors FC has suspended its head coach, Francis Zappa Koroma, with immediate effect, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into an alleged breach of contract.
The decision was announced in an official suspension notice issued by the club’s management and dated June 30, 2026.
According to the notice, Koroma will remain suspended until the investigation is concluded. During the suspension period, he is barred from participating in training sessions, matches, team meetings, or representing the club in any official capacity.
The club said the disciplinary measure is part of its internal processes and stressed that the investigation is ongoing.
Management further stated that it will update the public on the outcome of the investigation and announce the appointment of a caretaker coach to oversee the team’s remaining fixtures when appropriate.
Bai Bureh Warriors FC reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline and integrity in the management of the club.
