Sierra Leone Premier League champions Bo Rangers FC are facing uncertainty over their participation in the upcoming CAF Champions League due to reported financial challenges.

The club qualified to represent Sierra Leone in the continental competition after winning the league title but is reportedly struggling to raise the funds needed for the campaign.

Bo Rangers are said to require around US$250,000 to support their participation, covering expenses related to their CAF Champions League journey.

If the club’s withdrawal is officially confirmed, Star Sport Academy could be considered to replace Bo Rangers as Sierra Leone’s representative, subject to approval from the relevant football authorities.
