East End Lions FC have added two midfielders to their roster ahead of the 2026/27 season, securing Ghanaian defensive midfielder Ibrahim Yusif on a free transfer and Emmanuel Ansumana on a season-long loan from Bhantal FC, the club confirmed.

Yusif, a central midfielder from Tamale, Ghana, joins the Killers without a transfer fee following his departure from his previous club. The 28-year-old brings prior experience in the Ghanaian top flight, having made appearances for clubs including Ashanti Gold and Karela United during the 2017/18 season.

Ansumana arrives temporarily from fellow Leone Rock Premier League side Bhantal FC. The loan move keeps the midfielder within the domestic top flight, where he has previously featured against East End Lions, including scoring in a 3-3 draw between the two sides in March 2026.

The signings represent the latest squad adjustments for the Freetown-based club as they prepare for the upcoming campaign. East End Lions have been active in the transfer market, having previously added veteran defender David Simbo and goalkeeper Abdul “Rope” Bundu to their ranks.

The Killers will look to integrate Yusif and Ansumana as they aim to challenge for domestic honours and compete in the CAF Confederation Cup during the 2026/27 season.
