The Chelsea defender is still committed to representing England at senior level but the door could be open for Sierra Leone to make a move.

Despite having represented England at junior levels – Trevoh Chalobah remains eligible for Sierra Leone.

Gareth Southgate didn’t call up the centre-back to his 27-man squad ahead of June’s Nations league games against Hungary, Germany and Italy on the 4th, 7th and 14th.

Chalobah’s England snub leaves some hope for SierraLeone, who are trying to poach him before it is too late.

Although it is understood by MTS that he is currently very much committed to England, his head could be turned closer to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The centre-back’s aim is to compete at the next major international tournament.
