The Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League with one week remaining for the first leg recess continued to produce goals and mouthwatering results as FC Kallon Female recorded a huge 6-1 win when they hosted the only side representing Bombali District in the league Mena Queens Football Club at their Angola town field in the country’s capital city of Freetown on Saturday, 17th December 2022.
Sarah Bangura of FC Kallon opened the score line but a few minutes later winger Marian Jumu leveled terms for the visitors, however, Marie B Konteh put again FC Kallon in front to give her side a 2-1 lead before the first-half recess.
During the second half, Mamusu Tamu accounted for her first goal in the league extending the lead to 3-1, while Lucy Kikeh secured a brace within five minutes before Regina Grace Williams closed the score sheet in the 87 Minutes to make things worse for the visitors to get a 6-1 victory.
The win left FC Kallon’s female side to have scored sixteen goals and conceded eleven in ten matches played and they will wrap up the first leg campaign against Correctional Service on Sunday, 25th December 2022.
