SLPL: FCFC Thrashed Old Edwardians FC

The Freetown City Football Club (FCFC) on Sunday 5th March 2023, defeated Old Edwardian FC in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League match (SLPL) by five goals to one (5-1) at the Parade football field.
According to the match report, the first goals for
FCFC was scored by Abdul Karim Turay who had a brace.
Osman Barrie, Eitta John, and David Conteh were also on the score sheet for the visitors.
The Old Edwardian got a consolation goal scored by Samuel Gandi.
However, the defeat relegated the Old Edwardians to 14th position with just 15 points in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League (SLPL).

While their opponent Freetown City Football Club (FCFC) is in 9th position with 19 points.
In another report, the match between Bo Rangers Football Club and East End Tigers ended in favour of Bo Rangers by two goals to one (2-1).
Bo Rangers opened the scoring in the 8th minute of play through Abu Komeh but Joseph Kamara of East End Tigers levelled the score 3 minutes later before Abu Bakarr Samura gave the host Bo Rangers FC the winning before the end of the first half.

Bo Rangers have now secured 37 points from 15 matches played so far, and are leading the SLPL table.
