The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima and FIFA President, Gianni Infantino met in Paris, France.
The meeting was facilitated by Infantino who personally invited Brima to the French Capital to engage on a ‘number of issues related and important to football development in the West African nation.
The FA said Brima will later join other countries’ football heads in the FIFA World Player award after the meeting.
Sierra Leone men’s national team have upped their performance recently which earned them a spot in the African Cup of Nations (AfCON) competition in Cameroon after a 25-year absence.
The country’s football FA has given more attention to the local league which has provided hundreds of jobs for football talents.
