Kocaelispor Sign Sierra Leone-Born Forward Papay Gumbay Mansaray
Aaron Parker Turkish top-flight club Kocaelispor have announced the signing of Sierra Leone-born forward Papay Gumbay Mansaray, according to an announcement published on the club’s official website.
Mansaray has joined the Turkish side following a scouting process led by Morlai B. Kamara, Head of Scout of the Sierra Leone National Team.
The young forward has already featured for Kocaelispor’s PAF team, making his first appearance during a preparation match against August Sapancaspor.
His move to Kocaelispor marks another step in Mansaray’s football career as he continues his development in Turkey, with his performances expected to be closely monitored as he settles into his new environment.
The signing could also place Mansaray on the radar of Sierra Leone’s national team setup as he continues his development at club level.
