Four Sierra Leonean football officials have been selected for roles at the 2026 WAFU-A Women’s Champions League qualifiers in The Gambia, according to the Sierra Leone Football Association.
The appointments give Sierra Leone representation across tournament administration and officiating, with the four officials taking on responsibilities during the regional competition.
SLFA TMS Manager Miriam Heroe has been appointed general coordinator for the qualifiers, placing her in charge of coordinating key aspects of the tournament’s administration.
Angela C. Gabidon, secretary of the Women’s Premier League Board, will serve as a member of the Disciplinary Committee.
The SLFA has also appointed two Sierra Leonean referees to officiate at the competition.
Aminata Fullah will serve as a referee, while Agness Gbla has been designated as an assistant referee.
The appointments provide the four officials with an opportunity to represent Sierra Leone at the regional level while contributing to the organization and delivery of the women’s club competition.
The SLFA congratulated Heroe, Gabidon, Fullah and Gbla and wished them a successful and professional assignment in The Gambia.
Their selections add to Sierra Leone’s representation at the WAFU-A women’s competition and highlight the involvement of local administrators and match officials in regional football.
