The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced that Head Coach Mohamed Lamin Kamara has invited a 43-player provisional squad to begin preparations for the upcoming U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) WAFU Zone A Qualifiers. The regional tournament is scheduled to take place in Mali in October 2026.

Training will officially kick off on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 8:30 AM at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom, Freetown. All invited players are instructed to arrive on time and fully prepared as the technical staff begins evaluating talent ahead of the regional competition.

The official squad list includes talent called up from top domestic clubs across Sierra Leone. Goalkeepers: Amara Kamara (Bai Bureh Warriors), Alusine Mansaray (Bhantal), Abubakarr Bangura (Kamboi Eagles) and Mohamed T. Koroma (Western United).

Defenders: Mohamed Sesay (Wusum Stars), Capio Bangura (Bai Bureh Warriors), Santigie Sesay (Bai Bureh Warriors), Mohamed Kallon (East End Lions), Andrew Conteh (Old Edwardians), Dauda Kamara (Old Edwardians), John Timothy Willians (Diamond Stars), Foday Kemoh Koroma (Western United), Mohamed Alie Bangura (Stars Sport Academy), Osman Sesay (FC Kallon), Abu Bakarr Kargbo (East End Lions), Abdul N. Kamara (Freetown City FC), Osman Kamara (Star Sport Academy) and Sheku Samba (Kamboi Eagles).
