Sierra Leone international Hindolo Mustapha has joined Notts County from Crystal Palace on a season-long loan as he begins a new chapter in his young career.

The 18-year-old midfielder was called up to the Sierra Leone national team for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying rounds, where he made the most of his opportunity by scoring a memorable goal against Zambia.

Mustapha, who is regarded as one of Sierra Leone’s promising young talents, spent part of last season on loan with Nürnberg II and West Bromwich Albion.

He also featured for Wigan Athletic during the summer before securing a season-long move to Notts County.

The youngster will now look to continue his development at Notts County, gaining valuable first-team experience while competing in the new season.
