Coach, John Keister Reacts to Musa Tombo’s Absence in The Upcoming Friendly Matches With South Africa And Congo DR
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Head Coach of the Senior National Team (Leone Stars), John Edward Keister has reacted to Musa Tombo’s absence from his Leone Stars squad ahead of the upcoming friendly matches with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and the Leopards of Congo Dr.
As he was updating the media in a press conference this morning on technical preparations ahead of the FIFA Friendly matches on the 24th and 27th of September respectively, the Sierraloaded sports desk asked the gaffer whether he is worried that his prolific striker is not with his squad for these two matches.
The coach reacted that”This is the reason why I am looking at other players, this is exactly the reason. We know he got the ability. He got issues and he’s dealing with the issues. If Musa is not available doesn’t mean Leone Stars cannot play. So we have to look at others, this is the reason why we are looking at these friendly matches.”
According to SLFA deputy Secretary General, Mohamed Benson Bawoh, the Leone Stars delegation is set to depart the shores of Sierra Leone for South Africa today, 20th September 2022.
