“The last one month has been tough for me. My family was still mourning the death of my second son Kossie who died 8th April 2022 when we received the heavy news about the passing away of my fourth son Junior. We received it with shock and disbelief.

Junior was a responsible son, who loved and cared for his family, his love for me can’t be compared to anything, he used to check up on me everyday to make sure that I was okay.

He was the breadwinner and pillar of the family, he had lots of friends as he was a generous man who knew no boundaries, he was the people’s man.The house he bought for me and the family got burned down a few years ago and he promised to build it again but never meant to happen. I feel pain, and so do other family members. As a good Christian family we can’t question God, we give him the glory, we love Junior but God loves him the most. We’ll miss him, We pray that he rests in perfect peace.”

Tumbu’s elder brother Yikiba and sisters Naomi and Magrett expressed similar sentiments.

According to the family, Tumbu who died on 5th May 2022 will be buried on Sunday 22nd May at the Kissy Road cemetery after a funeral service at Limba Pentecostal Church on Fort Street.
