Dr Sylvia Olayinka Blyden has lost her bid for the Non – Executive sit of the National Advisory Committee (NAC) of the All Peoples Congress (APC).

Blyden got only 3 votes at the party’s National Delegates Conference in Makeni.

After that session of the conference, no reaction towards her defeat has been shown from her part.

On Monday, February 13th 2023, Blyden applied to contest for the position of a Member of the National Advisory Committee (NAC) of the All People’s Congress (APC) and received a green light from the party on Wednesday 15th February 2023.

Blyden took to social media the good news with full hope of being elected in the NAC to advise the APC.

She disclosed her capabilities and intentions for the party, noting that will help guide the APC party away from some of the unfortunate pathways that it has embarked upon due to influence.

She even urged her supporters to also help influence the decision of the delegates and lobby them that the APC needs someone like her seated in the NAC to advise the APC.

Nonetheless, she was fortunate to get only three members to vote in favor of her.
