Former Leone Stars player, Kei Kamara has heaped praise on Bo Rangers Executive Chairman, Babadi Kamara for the construction of Southern Arena.
“I want to say a big thank you and congratulations to Mr. Babadi Kamara for his contribution to football in Sierra Leone with the construction of this (Southern Arena) beautiful stadium,” Kei Kamara said.
He added that Bo Rangers Executive Chairman will play an “important part” in the growth of the game.
The Chicago Fire target man encouraged users of the maiden stadium to treat it with respect because he believes that the “country deserves finer things”.
Kei also anticipates beneficiaries of the stadium will break at the international stage with regards football.
The new stadium was opened past Sunday in a mini tournament that saw East End Lions play against host Bo Rangers.
The Killers narrowly won the match marking their first trophy in more than two years.
Southern Arena will be the new home ground for Sierra Leone Premier League Champions, Bo Rangers. The champions will see the remainder of their fixtures in this campaign moved from the Bo Sports Stadium to the Arena.
