Leone Stars former prolific striker Kei Ansu Kamara has been reportedly seen during this festive season extending kindness the communities around Sierra Leone with donations from the Heart Shaped Hands Foundation. 

The celebrity was on a video late last year revealed his intended 40feet loaded donation container to Sierra Leonean communities. On another video, Kei requested communities to make snippet videos on why they deserved the donations.

Few days after, Kei was spotted touring Sierra Leone keeping his promise to donate to the less privilege in different football societies.

The Heart-Shaped-Hands Foundation (HSH) was established in 2012 by Sierra Leonean international footballer Kei Ansu Kamara born in Kenema, who currently plays for CF Montreal in the USA.

Despite being the CEO of the Heart Shaped Hands Foundation, Kei Kamara is also the third-highest MLS goal scorer of all time. On January 1, 2023, Kei Kamara’s foundation provided support to the Camp Kenema Handball Team in the Eastern Region by giving the Team handball equipment. donation of handball equipment, bibs, socks, and shoes for the gym.

The foundation stresses youth development via sports and education, and the Camp Kenema handball team is one of the Eastern Region teams that benefited from the donation as part of Kei Kamara’s broad contribution to nation-building.

While watching the event, Councilor Sannoh of the Kenema City Council also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Kai Kamara for his support of these young sportsmen.

On behalf of the entire team, captain Soko Kaisamba extended his best wishes, noting that this support is much-needed.

The head coach of the Camp Kenema Handball Athletics Team, Elongima J. Amara, expressed his gratitude to Kei Kamara and HSH for providing the team with equipment.
