John Keister, Two Other SLFA Officials to Represent Sierra Leone at WAFU A U-20 Tournament in Mali
Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Technical Director John Keister and two other football officials will represent the country at the West African Football Union (WAFU) A U-20 tournament scheduled to take place in Mali later this October.
Keister will be joined by Sulaiman Santio Kamara, who has been appointed as a referee, and Mamoud Ali Conteh, who will serve as an assistant referee at the sub-regional competition.
The SLFA has bid farewell to the three officials ahead of their participation in the tournament, congratulating Kamara and Conteh on their appointments and wishing them success in their respective roles.
“The SLFA congratulates both officials on their appointments and wishes them success as they represent Sierra Leone on the regional stage,” the association said.
The WAFU A U-20 tournament brings together youth national teams from the West African Football Union Zone A to compete for regional honours and provide young players with an opportunity to showcase their talent.
The competition is scheduled to be held in Mali later this month, October 2026, with participating teams expected to compete for the title and gain valuable experience ahead of future international youth competitions.
