The Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars, commenced their first preparation training in Monrovia, Liberia, ahead of their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Guinea-Bissau on Thursday, March 20.

The squad is set to be further strengthened with the arrival of eight foreign-based players who will soon join the training camp in Monrovia.
