Sierra Leone’s national football team, Leone Stars, completed an intensive match situation training session on Monday at the SKD Stadium in Monrovia as preparations intensified for Tuesday’s international friendly against Liberia’s Lone Star.
The session was witnessed by Sierra Leone Football Association First Vice President Alie Badara Tarawallie, Second Vice President Prince Saquee, Minister of Sports Madame Augusta James-Teima, and SLFA Executive Committee Member and Leader of Delegation Kweku Melvin Lisk Esq., along with other officials.
At the conclusion of training, Minister of Sports Augusta James-Teima and First Vice President Alie Badara Tarawallie delivered messages of encouragement, blessings, and motivation to the players and technical team.
They assured the squad of the full backing of the government and the people of Sierra Leone ahead of the crucial encounter.
Also present was newly appointed Leone Stars Head Coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa, who has begun preliminary interactions with the technical team and players as he transitions into the national team setup before officially assuming his duties.
