Leone Stars Move Two Places up in October FIFA Ranking

The Sierra Leone male national team have now secured new points in the latest FIFA Rankings.
The move in the ranking for Leone Stars comes after they held Benin in a 1-1 draw in FIFA sanctioned match in Morocco. Leone also defeated the Ocean Stars of Somalia 2-0.
The Leone Stars were in Casablanca, Morocco, for two significant showdowns. The team put up an impressive performance in the just concluded International friendly matches held in Morocco.
The SLFA, with the invaluable support of the government, successfully arranged these important fixtures. The team faced Benin on October 14, 2023, followed by a match against Somalia on October 17, 2023.
