Leone Stars Sits 108 in Latest December FIFA

Sierra Leone’s senior national male team  Leone Stars has recently been ranked 108 best football playing country in the world in the latest FIFA  December ranking.

The Leone Stars remain static in December’s ranking released by Fifa on Thursday morning with no progress neither retrogression.

Leone Stars was able gathered a  total of 1174 points to stay as the 25th-best team in Africa behind Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, Kenya and Madagascar.

In the year under review, they finished second in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying following their victory against Benin.

Senegal are currently ranked first in the continent and 20th in the world with 1561 points, while the Atlas Lions are 28th in the world and second in Africa after amassing 1529 points.
