Leone Stars prolific winger, Augustus Kargbo has signed for Serie C side Cesena FC from Crotone
“Cesena FC announced that it has definitely acquired Augustus Kargbo’s right to sporting services from FC Crotone,” Cesena announced. The club announced that the winger will wear the historic number 10 jersey.
The winger was in the past linked to Serie A giant Juventus.
Kargbo issued his farewell statement late on Saturday morning to Crotone fans. He said he felt honoured to put on their shirt.

“I thank the club, the coaches and all the technical staff in the past and present, the directors, team managers, physiotherapists, warehouse workers, press officers, and all those who work behind the scenes for this club,” the winger said.
He wished his former colleagues the best for the future.
Kargbo started his professional career playing for Serie D side, Campobasso where he was spotted by Crotone.
The winger is considered one of the best young players for his national side, Leone Stars.
Kargbo was on the scoresheet in Sierra Leone’s 3-2 loss to Nigeria in the AFCONQ.
