Lady Patriots Grab Bronze Prize in Women’s T20 Tournament
The Lady Patriots of Sierra Leone have grabbed third position in Nigeria Women’s T20 Tournament.
Sierra Leone won against Ghana and Cameron to clinch bronze in the Tournament.
The lady Patriots of Sierra Leone defeated Ghana by 7 wickets in their second game at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos though loosing to Nigeria and Rwanda.
Meanwhile, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, H.E Julius Maada Bio, has congratulated the National Cricket Female Team.
He urged the Ladies to return to the pitch to train to attain higher heights “Wishing you all a safe return home,” the tweets conclude.
This has marked the second time in four days the President has celebrated the uncommon feat of the Ladies.
