Defender Sorie Sesay has penned down a four-year deal with the newly-promoted Luawa Football Club on a free transfer after his contract elapsed with Bombali Sebora FC a division one club based in Makeni City.

Sesay who was named part of the NERFA Super Ten competition team of the season is the first summer signing of the club since they attained promotion to the country’s top-tier league for the first ever time after finishing as runners-up in the 2022 national division one playoffs.

Sorie Sesay is a young promising talent apart from football he is also a runner and volleyballer, he quickly established himself at his previous club Bombali Sebora due to his pace, good recovery, and tactical ability in winning balls from opponents, he made a total of seventeen appearances in the NERFA Super Ten helping his previous side to emerge as champions of the competition, suffering only one defeat and reach again the national playoffs after a decade, however, they were unable to secure a Premier League promotion during the national playoffs
