One of the newly-promoted Sierra Leone Premier League teams Luawa FC becomes the first-ever club in the country to publish a magazine which was officially launched during their dinner held at the View Hotel FCC Building on the 1st of October 2022.

Dr Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai Esq. Chief Executive Officer of Luawa FC ascribed that the twenty-eight pages magazine which covers their nine-year journey to attain promotion in the Premier League marks another historic landmark for Sierra Leone which is a football-loving nation, as well as players whose contributions eulogized “the first club magazine in the country, to do something unique record the history of the club and give enhanced dignity to the players who find themselves in the magazine” he disclosed.

The 2018/19 season Sierra Leone Premier League Board Chairman added that the club is currently working on the next copy of the magazine following a series of interest from members of the public most of the first copies were donated to the attendees of the dinner, and the few that left have been sold “It was by donation during our dinner and 100% got sold, we are working on another copy” he concluded
