The Sierra Leone Football Association Referees Committee has suspended three match officials for poor performance.
The Committee disclosed that two Premier League Referees (Abdul J Gbla and Abu Bakarr Fofana) and an Assistant Referee (Mustapha M. Kamara) have been suspended from all football activities following a poor performance exhibited in the league match between Kamboi Eagles and Freetown City Football Club on the 16th July 2023 at the Kenema Mini-Stadium.
Abdul J Gbla was given five months, Abu bakarr Fofana and Mustapha M. Kamara were both handed down Four months suspension.
The Sierra Leone Football Association Referees Committee Urged all football match officials to conduct themselves professionally in the discharge of their duties.
