MFAIC Women’s Volleyball Team Dominate SLRSA in Inter-Ministerial Championship
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) Women’s Volleyball Team swept the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) in straight sets to secure a convincing victory in the Inter-Ministerial Championship at the Stadium Practising Field.
MFAIC delivered a dominant performance, controlling the match from the opening serve with accurate setting, powerful spiking and disciplined backcourt defence that kept SLRSA on the defensive. SLRSA struggled to match the team’s intensity and presence at the net, losing both sets.
The victory marks an important comeback for MFAIC following last week’s defeat to the Ministry of Health. With a 1–2 record before the encounter, the diplomatic squad needed a win to keep its group-stage qualification hopes alive.

Team Manager Josephine I. Bangura praised the players for their tactical execution after the match. She said that, before the game, she and members of the team’s executive support group had urged the players to maintain positional discipline and approach the contest with high energy.
The players delivered on those instructions, earning celebrations from teammates, officials and supporters at the sidelines.
The result strengthens MFAIC’s position in the tournament standings as the group-stage competition continues.
