Odense Boldklub striker, Mohamed Buya Turay has been on fire as he scored his first goal for Leone Stars after his long absence from the senior national male team.

Turay’s First goal for Leone Stars in their 1- 1 draw with Benin has been described by many fans as a stunning solo goal for the forward. His solo goal was a stunning individual effort that distorted the Benin defensive set up.

Benin fumbled at the Corner, allowing Leone Stats to Launch an attack, which Turay spearheaded.

The Forward dribbles past one of the Central defenders before drinking the ball past the goalkeeper into the net.

Turay’s brilliance has been rewarded with his recent Leone Stars Call-up under New Coach Amidu Karim for the October friendlies against Somalia and Benin.

The said two friendly matches against Benin and Somalia on the 14th and 17th October respectively, is in preparation for the start of the World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and Egypt in November this year.
