Liberian Club, Muscat FC is set to be renamed FC Kallon Liberia as the official announcement is expected to occur soon.

Reports from Liberia revealed that Mohammed Kallon, the former Inter Milan and Monaco striker, has taken charge of the club, with plans to transform the club as a hub for professional Liberian players.

Kallon is said to be working with Charles Massaley, commonly known as Manja, as the CEO of Kallon FC Liberia.

The Paynesville-based Football Club will announce in the next few weeks a new project that will involve the recruitment of young players, Full agreement is said to be in place with Mohamed Kallon poised to cover the operation of the club but maintain its shareholders.

Kallon’s vision for Kallon Fc Liberia is to create a football business that will not only compete at the highest level in African football but also export exceptional and marketable players to the European football market.

In recent times, Muscat striker Emmanuel Gono’s transition to FC Kallon helped to facilitate the partnership between the two clubs.

Gono was spotted by the FC Kallon Technical team during their short stay in Monrovia for the CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers. Many Liberians are in anticipation of the official announcement of this agreement that will be beneficial for the two teams.
