The Water Front Boys, Ports Authority have secured their first win in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League after defeating Freetonians SLIFA by a goal to nil (1-0).

The goal came from the penalty spot at the 74th minute of play by Joseph Cleveland to give Ports Authority the all important win.

However, at the end of the match, Freetonians SLIFA put out a Press Release dated 23rd January, expressing disappointment over the officiating of the match between them and Ports Authority.

They condemned the performance of the match officials and decided to suspend their participation on all SL Premier League matches until further notice.

SLIFA further demanded for the league to be  put on hold  until Article 45 of the Constitution of the Sierra Leone Football Association is met.
