The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Togolese quartet referees to officiate the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) clash between Sierra Leone against Sao Tome.
The center referee, Bodjona Mawbawe Bodojana Mawabwe, will be assisted and supported by his compatriots (Abdou Kpelafia(1st Assistant Referee) Komlan Domenyo Adiwotso (2nd Assistant Referee) and Vicentia Egonaam Amedome (4th Official).
The Sierra Leone senior national male team Leone Stars will return to continental action which has been scheduled to resume in March this year.
Following a shift in the fixtures owing to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Sierra Leone has been scheduled to host her São Toméan counterpart on Wednesday the 22nd of March 2023 with the return leg expected to play Forty-Eight hours later.
