Mayor Aki-Sawyerr Presents Le5 Million to FCFC For Defeating East End Lions
The Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has presented Le5 Million to the Freetown City Football Club (FCFC), following their 2-0 win over East End Lions in the Sierra Leone Premier League.
FCFC defeated East End Lions Football Club 2-0 Council on Wednesday, 1st February 2023 at the Attouga Mini Stadium in Freetown.
Goals from Etta John in the 58th minutes and Edward Thullah in the 85th minute were enough for the hosts to secure the all three points.
Shortly, after the win, the team paid a visit to Mayor Aki-Sawyerr at her office in Freetown.
The team and the Mayor celebrated the victory together, and she later presented them a Le5 million cash prize for their impressive efforts.
