The Sierra Leone contingent, consisting of three officials (two to follow) and 14 players, has safely touched down in Benoni South to register participation at the ACA T20 Men’s Africa Continental Cup Qualifier scheduled for December 6 through December 10, 2023.

The contingent has been lodged at the Garden Court Hotel where spirits will be united to attract supreme glory at the five-day qualifier Showpiece.

In South Africa, there will be two separate contests: the Qualifier (Dec 6–10) and the finals (Dec 11–19).
Seven countries will engage in advance-prone matches to merit a place in the finals. Nigeria, which was pitted to compete with teams in Group A, backed out of the tournament after failing to secure visas to travel to South Africa.

In the Qualifier, Sierra Leone will take on bull dog Kenya tomorrow Thursday before facing Mali on Saturday December 9. Success in both matches will lead the country to its third and final match against Cameroon on Sunday, a clash that will buy the Patriots tickets to the next stage.
