The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has officially unveiled the shortlist for its March Coach of the Month Award, selecting the four standout managers whose performances have shaped the ongoing season.
In a statement released last week, the Board named Alhaji Foray of Bo Rangers, Amidu Karim of Star Sports Academy, Patrick Bangura of Old Edwardians, and Musa Jalloh of Mighty Blackpool as the four nominees for the prestigious monthly accolade.
The selection reflects a competitive month in the league, with each coach demonstrating tactical discipline and consistency. However, particular attention has been drawn to Foray and Karim, whose teams currently occupy first and second positions on the league table respectively.
Foray’s inclusion comes as little surprise, with Bo Rangers maintaining their dominance at the top of the standings. Under his leadership, the team has shown remarkable consistency, strong defensive organisation, and the ability to secure crucial victories -key factors that have kept them ahead of their rivals.
Similarly, Karim has earned recognition for guiding Star Sports Academy to second place. His side has impressed with an attacking style of play, resilience in tight matches, and a steady accumulation of points that has kept them within striking distance of the league leaders. His tactical adaptability throughout March has been widely credited for the strong run of form.
Bangura and Jalloh have also been acknowledged for their contributions, having led their respective teams through notable performances during the month, further intensifying competition across the league.
The Board has called on fans to participate in the selection process by casting their votes via its official WhatsApp platform before the deadline on Wednesday, April 22.
“Results will be announced shortly after the deadline,” the Board stated, encouraging supporters to actively engage in deciding the winner of the March Coach of the Month Award.
