Sierra Leone is set to launch its first-ever Women’s Football Strategy on Wednesday, October 28, alongside a capacity-building workshop aimed at strengthening the administration of women’s football.

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) announced the initiative, which will take place on the 10th floor of the Freetown City Council Hall at 10 a.m., with support from FIFA.

The launch marks a new step in the SLFA’s efforts to develop women’s football in the country, with a focus on building the capacity of administrators responsible for managing the women’s game.

According to the association, the strategy launch will be accompanied by a workshop for women’s football administrators, providing a platform to support their professional development and strengthen the structures needed for the sport’s long-term growth.

The initiative comes under the leadership of SLFA President Babadi Kamara, as the association continues its efforts to advance women’s football in Sierra Leone.

The SLFA said attendance at the event would be strictly by invitation.

The launch is expected to mark an important milestone in the association’s plans to build a stronger and more sustainable future for women’s football in the country.
