Afcon 2022 is knocking at Leone Stars’ door and there is  not enough time to experiment players. What is baffling many Leone stars fans is that  Coach John Kiesta has a new squad for almost every friendly match. At this point in time, the Leone stars coach should have got hind sight of his Afcon squad.

Sierra Leone national team is not a place to compensate players. Kiesta should give chance to the right players if we want to Compete in Cameroon. Our defense and midfield line need more robust, intelligent  and tactical players if we are to upset teams like Cote d Ivoire and Algeria in the African Cup of Nations.

moreover, the battle for Kiester would be against Professional footballers in various Leagues around Europe, America and the local players that play football in Nonprofessional League in Sierra Leone. The major focus should be Kiester selecting the appropriate 28 players to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The lesson from the Comoros defeat is that our Technical Team must step up because Leone Stars is drawn with teams that are highly ranked than Comoros in the AFCON Competition.
