The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has released Leone Stars 25 man Squad ahead of their friendlies Matches against Togo, Liberia and Congo Brazzaville in Turkey.

Captain Umaru Bangura, Kei Kamara, John Kamara and Musa Tombo were excluded from the Squad to give the other players opportunity to represent their country, Says the Head Coach, John Keister.

Ghanaian born Samuel Kweku Bekoe is part of the squad as he set to make his unofficial debut for Leone Stars. Inform East End Lions striker Ali Conteh (Nzonzi) is also part of the squad.

As a way of strengthening the National Senior Men’s team Leone Stars ahead of the AFCON 2023 Qualifiers with support from the Government of Sierra Leone, SLFA has successfully concluded arrangements to hold three FIFA sanctioned international friendly matches against Togo, Liberia and Congo Brazzaville on the 24, 27 and 29 March, 2022 respectively.

All matches are scheduled to play in Antalya, Turkey.

The Technical Team has invited, among other regulars, a few new names including but not limited to Jonathan Sahr Morsay, who had consented to play for Sierra Leone.
