The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) have signed a partnership agreement to strengthen cooperation and promote football development in both countries.
The agreement was signed on Monday, August 17, 2026, in Rabat, Morocco, by SLFA President Mr Babadi Kamara and FRMF President Mr Fouzi Lekjaa.
Under the agreement, the two football governing bodies will collaborate in several areas, including training for technical and administrative staff, referee development, youth football promotion, organising friendly matches, and football workshops.

The partnership will also support football infrastructure development in Sierra Leone through the establishment of a technical training ground in a vulnerable community.
As part of the agreement, the Moroccan Football Federation will host SLFA technical and administrative personnel for training and observation programmes. It will also facilitate access to specialised sports injury hospital facilities.

The two federations further agreed to work together in organising friendly matches involving senior and youth national teams for both men and women.
The partnership will run for an initial period of two years and may be renewed upon mutual agreement between the two federations.
