The Sierra Leone Football Association has today, at the FA Secretariat in Freetown, officially opened the Book of Condolence for Lamin ” Junior Tumbu” Conteh who passed away on Thursday, May 5th this year.

The Ceremony was witnessed by SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima, Vice President 1 Harold Nat-Johson , and Executive Committee members; Saddick Deen Nyarkoh and Pst Philip Buck.

Also present at the grieving event were; BBC Reporter Umaru Fofana, President of the Sports writers Association Sierra Leone(SWASL) Sahr Morris Jr, Leone Stars Assistant Head Coach 1 Amidu Karim and other renowned football Administrators.

The Ceremony was opened with a consolatory prayer led by Pst. Philip Buck and followed by several tributes most of which recounted on the Football Prowess possessed by the former Leone Stars captain.

Declaring the book officially open, the SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima called on all Sierra Leoneans to ” Kindly visit the Secretariat at Kingtom in Freetown and record their messages condolence in Lamin Conteh’s book as a sign of last respect to the fallen hero
