The Orthodox Football Academy Sends congratulatory note as three players from the club have been named in the Sierra Leone National Under-17 Squad , skipper Abu Koroma, goalkeeper Amza Karim and sensational defender Santigie Bangura included in the last 20 man squad released by the Under-17 Trainer Mohamed Lamin Kamara.

The aforementioned players made the wish list after successful one week training with the national team in Makeni and thirty two players were drawn from across the country and twenty incredibly talented youngsters were earmarked.

On that token, the three players from orthodox expressed huge delight after reaching such milestone in their football careers.

Orthodox Skipper, Abu Koroma has impressed the coaching staff as a midfielder with vast playing vision while Amza Karim has brilliantly performed as a keeper through his acrobatic saves in all of the sessions held at the wusum grounds in makeni.

Lightening quick forward Santigie Bangura, who is fussy about goals, made several attempts on goal as a way to demonstrate his incredible striking acumen, as well as making some terrific header.

During the friendly match, the U-17 side played today and won emphatically, the trio contributed immensely towards the triumph.
Meanwhile, the expected players in this current squad are hoping to replicate the excellent display of the 2003 National Under-17 team in Finland.
