Tamba Dauda, Sierra Leone’s Director of Surveys and Lands has been sent to Pademba Road prison.
On 13 September 2021, the High Court of Sierra Leone issued a warrant of arrest for him for contempt of Court.
The Court ordered for the arrest of Mr. Dauda after his failure to comply with the Court’s order given to him on September 7 to countersign a certain Survey Plan.

The court noted that Mr. Tamba Dauda should be arrested and brought to court to explain to the Court why could not abide by the Order and why he believes he cannot he cannot be sent to prison for contempt of Court.
After appearing in court today, Spetemeber 17, 2021, Dauda has been sent to Pademba Road prison.
