Court Martial Closing Addresses to Take Place Today
Aaron Parker The closing addresses by both the Defence and Prosecution in the RSLAF Court Martial Trial are scheduled for today, Monday, 5 August 2024, at 09:00 Hrs.
The proceedings will take place in Court No. 2 of the Main Law Court Building on Siaka Stevens Street in Freetown.
During this session, both parties will summarize the entire case. The Defence will highlight any perceived weaknesses in the Prosecution’s case and argue why the Prosecution has failed to provide sufficient evidence against the accused.
Conversely, the Prosecution will present their summary, asserting that they have presented adequate evidence against all 26 accused persons and outline reasons for their conviction.
This marks a critical step in concluding the current RSLAF Court Martial trial.
