Presidential Aide Reacts to Samura Kamara’s Absence During State Opening of Parliament
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Presidential Aide, Myk Brewa, has remarked that the absence of APC’s Samura Kamara and his allies during the State Opening of Parliament was a missed opportunity.
President Bio opened Parliament on Tuesday, 6th August, 2024. Brewa highlighted the significance of the State Opening as a crucial occasion for the government to communicate its accomplishments, aims, and goals to Parliament and the public.
He emphasized that the event initiates discussions shaping the legislative agenda for the year, and is vital for fostering strong parliamentary ties and national cohesion.
Additionally, he pointed out that the State Opening bolsters diplomatic relations and showcases Sierra Leone’s commitment to a robust parliamentary democracy, underlining the country’s rich history and modern political approaches.
Brewa concluded by stating that Samura Kamara and his allies undeniably missed a significant opportunity once again.
If you celebrate wrongs today because it favour you then be prepared for tomorrow when it goes against you. Remember, the coin has two face
You virtually usurped the rights of the individual, yet you want his presence for what? So he can be humiliated? Having also gone the extra mile to forment divisions in his party; you favor that, as being your preplanned agenda on assuming power: to destroy the party. Now you’ve reached the apex of your ambition; now it’s provocation time.
Indeed ..it is provocation to the highest standards….Today the system favors the Paopa Regime, but it will not be forever… Dr Samura’s is the most sensible thing he has done for this 2024…
He has more important things to attend to.
