Sierra Leone Senior Women’s National Team Head Coach, Hassan Malik Mansaray, has called up 27 players to begin training in preparation for the upcoming WAFU-A Women’s Tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in Mauritania from May 18th to 31st, 2025.
The squad, comprised of players currently playing club football in Sierra Leone, includes 4 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 7 midfielders, and 8 forwards.
Training is set to commence on May 7th, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. at the SLFA Academy Field in Kingtom, Freetown. All invited players are expected to report promptly.
This training camp marks a crucial step in ensuring the Sierra Queens are well-prepared and competitive for the regional challenge ahead. The team aims to make a strong showing at the WAFU-A Women’s Tournament.
