Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Sannoh, took center stage on Saturday, 20th July 2025, as he officially kicked off a high-energy community football match between New England and Dwarzac at the School Yard Field, Ferguson Street, Central Freetown.
His presence electrified the atmosphere, drawing loud cheers from a crowd of over 10,000 supporters who gathered to witness not just a game, but a celebration of youth strength, unity, and potential.
The Minister was specially invited to perform the ceremonial kickoff in recognition of his visible and ongoing efforts to empower young people across Sierra Leone. His support for grassroots initiatives, particularly at the School Yard Field, continues to inspire a generation seeking opportunities through sports, innovation, and leadership.
