In a grand ceremony at the residence of the APC District Chairman in Kono, Mr. Tamba Kamineh Songu Mbriwa, popularly known as CEO Justee, officially declared his intention to contest for the parliamentary seat in Constituency 028, covering Fiama, Kamaa, and Gbane Kandor Chiefdoms.

The event drew party executives, grassroots supporters, and other community members, marking a significant moment in the district’s political history.

In his opening statement, Mr. Mbriwa honored the memory of his late grandfather, after whom he was named, describing him as one of the APC’s founding members.

He affirmed that his political ambition is a continuation of that legacy, stating, “The APC is not just a party to me  it is a heritage, and I am ready to serve the people of this constituency with the same dedication my grandfather once showed.”

He assured attendees that his vision centers on the people  from students and youth to women and the elderly. He promised to prioritize education, job creation, and social welfare. “I am here to serve, not to rule,” he said to loud applause.

The aspiring MP also highlighted his development agenda, pledging to improve schools, electricity, and road networks within the constituency. He emphasized that quality education, reliable electricity, and durable infrastructure are essential for progress and economic growth. According to him, these measures would open opportunities for investment, improve living standards, and position Constituency 028 as a hub of sustainable development.

Key APC figures attended the declaration, including the District Chaplain, Organising Secretary, Public Relations Officer, and youth representatives. Mr. Mbriwa committed himself to transparency, accountability, and integrity, assuring that his leadership would be people-driven and corruption-free.

APC Eastern Region Chairman, Mr. Sahr Mattia, congratulated Mr. Mbriwa and pledged the full support of the regional structure for his candidacy. He affirmed that the Eastern Region stands firmly behind him and will work to ensure the APC’s victory in the 2028 presidential and general elections.

The presence of non-political personalities at the event highlighted Mr. Mbriwa’s ability to unite diverse groups. In his closing remarks, he thanked all attendees and expressed special gratitude to his wife, Madam Rose Songu Mbriwa, for her unwavering support.

He assured party executives and supporters that he would do all in his power to return the APC to State House in 2028.
