As the world gathers for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio steps into the spotlight, chairing the pivotal 7th C-10 Summit to foster global cooperation and development.

The gathering marks the 20th Anniversary of the Ezulwini Consensus and the Sirte Declaration, pivotal African positions on the reform of the UN Security Council.

The summit will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in the Trusteeship Council Chamber and will conclude with a press briefing.

The event is scheduled for 3 pm New York time and 7 pm Sierra Leone time.
