The Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars, through the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), has announced the two remaining fixtures of the national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

According to SLFA, the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues, and our Leone Stars are ready to fight for glory.

Here are the upcoming fixtures in the African Qualifiers: On October 8, 2025, Leone Stars will be against Burkina Faso at Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex, Monrovia, Liberia.

Secondly, the national team will be playing Djibouti on October 12th, 2025, at Larbi Zaouli, Casablanca, Morocco.

The Sierra Leone national team is in third place in group A table with 12 points, Egypt leading the group with 20 points, while Guinea-Bissau is in fourth place with 10 points, Ethiopia with 6 points, and Leone Stars, the national team’s next opponent, in sixth place in the table with one point.
