The Government of Sierra Leone, in Collaboration with Sierra Leone Land Alliance and Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI), will Host the 5th Regional Conference of the African Land Institutions Network for Community lights Protection (ALIN) at the Freetown International Conference Center Aberdeen Freetown, Sierra Leone from October 14 to 16, 2025.

The three-day conference will bring together policymakers, academics, and stakeholders to discuss the future of land governance across the continent.

With land at the center of development, the conference seeks to stimulate collaboration, discuss best practices, and outline a long-term path for successful land use and regulation.

Participants are expected to engage in conversations around policy alignment, improving land rights, and using technology to modernize land systems.

The gathering will establish the country as a focal point for continental discourse on land reform, reflecting rising global attention to land as a driver of economic progress, peace, and environmental sustainability.
